Contact Discovery Services provides legal technology and eDiscovery solutions to law firms, corporate legal departments, and government agencies across the United States. Their leadership sought to test Microsoft 365 Copilot before implementing company wide.

CORYELL ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION

PROBLEM

Coryell Roofing and Construction is a premier commercial roofing contractor serving “Hail Alley” in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.

 

Coryell wanted to build a company intranet portal in its Microsoft 365 environment and extract more value from its Business Standard licenses. To ensure these goals were fulfilled, Coryell approached Aston-Price to render envisioning, design, and training services.

SOLUTION

Aston-Price proposed a comprehensive, low-cost strategy that combined functional design consultations with a customized training program to accomplish three objectives:

 

  1. Create a SharePoint portal as a centralized hub for company news, resources, and collaboration.

  2. Expand opportunities to improve teamwork and productivity across the Coryell organization.

  3. Digitize paper-bound processes with forms, automation, and approval flows.

Coryell wanted a train-the-trainer model to empower upper management with the skills and tools to train their employee teams. To support this model, Aston-Price created a mobile-friendly SharePoint Learning Center site, a playlist of custom videos, and a learning survey to measure retention.

RESULTS

Together Aston-Price and Coryell’s IT lead built a SharePoint portal in 4 weeks and used out-of-the-box functions to automate 8 workflows – one of which leveraged Power Automate to create Microsoft Forms outputs as events on a group calendar.

Employee survey responses rated both “your confidence level in using the automated forms” and “the effectiveness of the video training series in improving your skills” as 5 out of 5.
